Q&A with BoogieRez

Q&A with BoogieRez Recap

On August 18, 2019, FRESCO Collective curatorial director Irina Li sat down with the dynamic street artists duo, Riiisa Boogie and Rezones, at Arts on Site to have a lively Q&A session about their lives, work, and experiences in the street art world. Boogie talked about her upbringing, her art career and how she would like to be an inspiration to young female artists who wants to voice their opinions in the male-dominated street art world. Rezones shared with us his work as a graffiti artist and a photographer, and how he and Boogie complement each other and create as a duo.

This discussion was the second event in our first annual Street Art Summer Festival, hosted in partnership with Arts on Site, a non-profit arts organization run by a team of volunteer artists dedicated to providing artists with affordable studio rentals and opportunities for artists to develop new works.
